You are purchasing a Inoculated White Truffle Tree for £699.00, you will be the owner of this tree, with a unique ID.
As an early-stage investor, you’ll receive 699 shares in the company, White Truffle Project Ltd, in addition to your White Truffle Tree,
Your tree will be planted on one of our meticulously managed Lalbenque Farms UK plantations, each White Truffle tree assigned a unique ID number that tracks its location and yield. As the owner of the tree, you are welcome to visit the plantation and inspect your tree at any of the 3 defined visitation dates.
White Truffle Trees can produce anywhere from 0.35 kg to 1.25 kg of truffles per tree, with an average annual income of £4,800 per kg.
In the Investment agreement, White Truffle Project Ltd, will retain 20% of the yield for operational expenses, the remaining 80% will be pooled and distributed to shareholders as annual dividends. At the end of the 35-year term, the trees are felled and sold to lumber yards, and you will receive 100% of the income from this sale of your Tree.

Lalbenque Farms uses Hazelnut Trees as hosts for Black Truffles and Pine Trees as hosts for White Truffles. For the best results and highest returns, we recommend you purchase more than just one Tree. Our experience has shown that 5 inoculated trees represent the best returns, you don't need to purchase all 5 upfront. Make sure you read the Startup Package guide for planting your Truffle Trees.
Black Truffles are easier to grow than White Truffles, there are a few things you need to know, the information is located in your Startup Package. Lalbenque Farms use Hazelnut Tress as the host for the Black Truffles and Pine Trees as the host for the White Truffles. Both these types of trees do not require a lot of maintenance. The most important part of growing Truffles is to maintain a good pH, this can be achieved by following the instructions in your Startup Pack and using the soil test kit provided.
Black and White Truffles are best eaten Fresh, most will fruit in early Winter. In late Summer we recommend you approach a couple of high end Restaurants, let them know you have Black or White Truffles fruiting in Winter, and would they like to assess the quality and freshness once harvested. You will need to grade your Truffles, there is a section in the Startup Pack which explains the grading process.
If you have looked after your Truffle Tree and it does not fruit, contact us via sales@proferlo.com and we will arrange for a "fruiting Black Truffle to be shipped, with regards to White Truffle Trees, in these cases we would send you a mature White Truffle Tree. Terms and Conditions apply.
